Beaches within walking distance:

The quiet White Sands Beach is located directly across the street.
The much larger Dover Beach is a 5 minute walk away with umbrellas and beach chairs for rent. (our personal favorite beach)
The equally large Casuarina Beach is an 8 minute walk away in the opposite direction via Public Beach Access.
Sandy Beach is a 15 minute walk away located on the other side of St. Lawrence Gap. At low tide you can walk out to the exposed reef. Sometimes you can see turtles swimming.
Accra Beach is approximately a 30 minute walk away (5 minute drive). It is yet another fabulous beach. The popular Tiki Bar is on the beach, local fast food chain Chefette and small shopping mall located across the street. Beach umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards are available for rent. Beach vendors and Beach bar are open on beach. The South Coast Barbados Boardwalk starts at the northwestern end of the beach and runs for one mile. Taxis available.
